Training normally lasts an hour and will be either a steady run or an intervals session. Each week training will switch between a steady run and intervals; details of what each session will involve and what footwear is needed will be posted on the Facebook page two or three days before training. Sessions take place in Roundhay Park whenever possible.

Experienced members share the responsibility of leading sessions which ensures a varied workout for all and means we rarely run the same session twice.

Occasionally Roundhay Runners goes on tour, taking advantage of the long summer evenings to go a little further afield and try running somewhere new.

Our members often organise longer runs on weekends or evenings, enjoying the wide range of routes available in north Leeds and beyond. Join our Facebook group for the latest information.
